Adlee Van Winden

Adlee Van Winden was hired as an assistant coach for the UCSB women's volleyball team in April of 2021. She is heading into her second season in the role.

Van Winden serves as the team's defensive coordinator and made a strong impact in her first season bringing in her strong volleyball IQ and insights as a former Big West Champion.

Before coming to Santa Barbara, Van Winden was a Graduate Assistant Coach for the University of San Diego women's volleyball team, where she helped USD to its 11th straight NCAA Tournament appearance and a first-round win in 2020.

Van Winden attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she was a four-year starter and standout player for the Mustangs. She earned the Big West Conference Freshman of the Year Award, was named Big West All-Conference every year including three First-Team nods, and was a two-time AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention. The decorated Mustang helped lead Cal Poly to back-to-back Big West Championships and NCAA tournament appearances.

Van Winden received her undergrad degree from Cal Poly in child development with a minor in psychology.
