2017: In her junior season, appeared in 91 sets and all 28 of the team's matches, operating as a setter, serving specialist, and defensive specialist ... Totaled 162 digs (1.78 per set), 148 assists (1.63), and 26 service aces (0.29) ... Ranked eighth in the Big West in aces ... Upped her aces average to 0.40 per set in conference play, good for sixth-best in the league ... Started three of the team's first four matches at setter, including a 60-assist, 10-dig double-double against No. 15 Florida State ... Picked up 10+ scoops in three matches, including a career-high 12 at Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 15 ... 2015: Played in 43 sets through 22 matches … Recorded 32 digs and four service aces … Set a season-high with eight digs versus Long Beach State (10/3/15) … All four of her aces came in her performance against Hawai’i (11/21/15).
High School: Played for four years at Santa Barbara High School under coach John Gannon … Ended her prep career winning her second consecutive league title and was selected as the Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Year and All-City … As a junior, was named MVP of the Channel League … Her high school team went to the CIF playoffs in four years … Rottmann also made history as being a member of Santa Barbara High’s first-ever sand volleyball team … She also had success in the classroom, as she was a member of the National Honors Society, the California Scholarship Foundation, and the CIF Volleyball Academic Team.
Club: At the club level, she competed with the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club and went to junior nationals three times ... With her 16s team, she helped them finish fifth in nationals and was voted to the all-tournament team.
