2010 
Lily appeared in 85 sets as a junior and finished the season with 139 kills ... She was fifth on the team with 185 points ... Also finished fifth with 1.64 kills per set ... She had 63 total blocks (11 solo) and averaged 0.74 per set ... Lily hit .217 on the season ... She twice posted an attack percentage of at least .500, once against Manhattan College and again vs. UC Davis... Lily finished with 12 kills in that game against UC Davis, her second-best kill total as a member of the Gauchos ... She also ended the year with nine aces and 41 digs ... In conference matches Lily swung at a .254 clip while averaging 1.64 kills per set ... Averaged 0.75 blocks per game in Big West play.
2009
 Was one of five players to see time in all 30 matches and as a  sophomore, missed just one set ... Had 212 total kills, fourth on the  team ... Averaged 1.80 kills per set and swung at a .270 clip ... Led  the Gauchos with 94 total blocks, including a team-best 14 solo blocks  ... Averaged 0.80 blocks per set ... In Big West action, Lily averaged  1.71 kills per set and had 41 of her blocks in conference play ...  Posted a career-high 15 kills on Sept. 5 at San Diego ... Had five  matches with double-digit kills, three of those coming in victories ...  In opening match vs. Portland State had two solo blocks and four block  assists ... That was one of eight matches on the season in which she had  at least five total blocks ... On Sept. 24 vs. San Diego State had 12  kills, seven digs and six blocks ... Thirteen times Lily posted at least  a .300 hitting percentage in a match ... Hit a season-high .545 on Nov.  21 vs. Cal State Northridge ... Had three service aces on the season  ... On 24 occasions she had at least five kills, including a stretch of  16 in 17 matches.
2008
 2008 Big West All-Freshman Team
 An All-Big West Freshman Team selection, Lopez played in all but one of  UCSB's 98 sets in her rookie campaign ... Lopez became the 14th Gaucho  in the last 10 years to be named to the Big West All-Freshman Team ...  Finished with 100 kills, which was fourth on the team ... Her 66 total  blocks were second on the Gauchos, as were her five solo blocks ...  Saving her best for last, Lopez tied her career-high with seven kills in  UCSB's final two matches of the season ... Had five blocks twice during  her freshman season - Sept. 5 at San Francisco and again on Oct. 4 vs.  UC Davis ... Had four of her 14 service aces on Sept. 26 at Cal State  Northridge ... Also had two service aces on three separate occasions ...  Totaled 61 digs, with six marking her season-high ... Had six digs in  two different matches - Oct. 11 at Long Beach State and again on Nov. 22  vs. UC Riverside ... Had 67 kills in Big West play to go with 45 digs,  50 total blocks and 11 service aces ... The 11 aces were third-most in  conference matches while the 50 blocks were second ... Averaged 0.81  blocks per set in Big West matches ... Overall, Lopez averaged 1.02  kills per set, 0.67 blocks per set and 0.62 digs per set, which  accounted for an average of 1.53 points per set.
High School
 Played at Mater Dei High School under head coach Jimmy Munoz...Was named  to the All-Trinity League First Team as a senior and also earned the  honor of being named her varsity team captain and Most Valuable  Player...In 2006, she earned Second Team All-Trinity League honors and  earned Most Improved Player and Best Offensive Player honors...An  academic standout, she was a member of the National Honors Society,  California Scholarship Federation, and earned Second Academic  Honors...Was a member of the Campus Ministry and also participated in  the Race for the Cure.
Club
 Played for Goldenwest Volleyball Club...Earned a silver medal at the 2007 Junior Olympics.

 Lillian Ruth Lopez was born on Aug. 28, 1990 in Orange County,  Calif....Parents are Susan and Bernard Lopez...Has two younger siblings:  Phillip and Grace...Off the court, she enjoys hanging out with her  friends, sleeping, and eating...Favorite movie is "Pretty Woman" while  her favorite musician is John Mayer..."To Kill a Mockingbird" is her  favorite read...Names her mother as her personal hero.
