2017: Entered 25 matches and 63 sets in her sophomore season, usually as a serving specialist ... Registered three aces, 27 digs, and nine assists on the season.
2016: As a true freshman, entered 28 matches and 86 sets for UCSB as a defensive and serving specialist ... Finished the year with 14 services aces (sixth on the team) and 31 digs ... Had a season-high four digs in a sweep of San Jose State on Sept. 17 ... On Sept. 2 against Baylor, recorded her first career ace and ended the match with a season-best three aces ... 11 of her aces and 13 of her digs came in the month of September ... Added six aces and 15 digs over 16 conference matches ... UCSB was 9-1 in matches where Burke had multiple digs ... Made her collegiate debut on Aug. 26 against New Mexico State, notching three digs.
High School: Played for three seasons under coach Mike Murphy at JSerra High School … As a senior, she served as team captain and was named the team’s defensive leader after tallying the most digs on the team … As she led her school to its second consecutive CIF postseason, she was also named Second Team All-Trinity League … She had one of her best career games that year, as she helped her team best Mater Dei High School for the first time after rallying back from a 2-0 deficit (10/22/2015) … As a junior, she played a pivotal role in bringing the Lions to their first ever CIF postseason and setting a school record with 15 wins … The team also advanced beyond the first round of the playoffs that year … During her sophomore year, she posted 126 digs, 20 aces, 115 assists, and three kills and was named the team’s defensive leader ... Excelled in the classroom, as she was an honor roll student all four years and was a Scholar Athlete Award winner after the 2015-16 year.
Club: Played for the TStreet Volleyball club for seven years, all on the 1s team as a libero/defensive specialist ... With the 18s Division, her team finished second in the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) and also finished in the top 10 at Nationals in the Open Division ... While in the 17s Division, she helped her team place first for the USA at the Junior Olympics ... During her time with both the 18s and 17s, she was named the Player of the Month ... With the 16s, she finished seventh at Nationals in the Open Division ... Finished in fifth at Nationals with the 15s and placed second with the 14s.
