Biography
2024: Appeared in 11 matches … Opened her season splitting time as the Gauchos setter with an impressive performance against CSUN (Sept. 28) notching a season-high 22 assists and seven digs on the night … Added 13 assists and three digs in the following sweep against UC Riverside (Oct. 4) ... Earned a double-double and recorded a season-high 12 digs at UC Irvine (Oct. 12).
2023: Played in 93 sets across 28 matches, coming in as the secondary setter in the team's 6-2 offense ... totaled 357 assists, 141 digs and 14 aces throughout the season ... had a season-high 27 assists in a road win over UC Riverside (Oct. 5) ... contributed a season-high of 12 digs in all three double-doubles she earned ... put in work at the service line, notching a season-high three aces against Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 28) ... was a member of the 2023 Big West Regular Season Championship that earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
PRIOR TO UC SANTA BARBARA: Played the Spring 2023 season with Loyola Marymount after playing three seasons with Washington State.
2022: Started nine of the Cougars' first 10 matches of the season and averaged 1.34 blocks per set while helping to hold opponents to just .121 hitting (295-187-893) to begin the season ... tallied a career-high nine blocks vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (Sept. 10) before going down with a season-ending injury vs. 22nd-ranked Pepperdine (Sept. 16).
2021: Made her first start of the season at Colorado (Oct. 14), setting career-best numbers across the board with her first career kill and first career service ace ... Tallied six digs in her first full match in the Cougars' lineup vs Colorado (Oct. 14).
2020-21: Sat out the season with a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended La Salle College Prep where she lettered four years as a member of the volleyball program ... earned a number of accolades which includes a 2019 Second Team All-League selection, a 2018 First Team All-League selection, 2018 varsity Most Valuable Player award, 2017 varsity Most Valuable Player award, 2017 First Team All-League, and helped lead her squad to a Hacienda League Championships in 2017 as well.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Michael Zaho and Mary Yang ... Has one sister, Shirley Zaho.
