The Sophomore played in 15 games and started 7 of them as a Goalkeeper for the Gauchos…Went 6-0 on the season…Tallied up a career high 107 saves for the season and finished with a .677 save percentage…Had 11 assists to go along 10 steals and 10 field blocks. 

2018
Played in 19 matches her freshman season and started six of them...She had two assists, 100 saves and five steals.

High School
Played for four years as a goalie at Campolindo High School under coach Kim Everist… As a senior, she made 259 saves and recorded 36 assists as her team finished with a record of 20-7… That year she led her team to the NCS D-I Semi Finals… Also named as the DAL All-League 1^st Team Oustanding Goalie, to the All-NCS 1^st team, and to the Cal-Hi All-American 3^rd Team…She also set her career high of 20 saves in a win over Clovis West that year… Her junior year saw her record the second highest single-season save amount in her school’s history with 288 saves… That year she was named to the All-NCS 2^nd team and to the DAL All-League 2^nd team… She also led her team to its third consecutive NCS D-II finalist rank… As a sophomore she made 64 saves… That year her team won the Norcal Invitational as well as the NCS D-II and DFAL championships… Also in the water as a swimmer, she was named as a DAL finalist as well as an NCS qualifier in 2017 in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter breaststroke… As a scholar, she earned the USA Water Polo Outstanding Academic All-American for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years… She also was named to the Scholastic Champions Team in 2015-2016.

Club
Competed at various clubs in the Lamorinda area such as Lamorinda Water Polo and Diablo Alliance Water Polo under coach Jeff Tyrell… She competed in the Junior Olympics from 2013-2017… From 2014-2017, her teams also competed in the Cal Cup.

Rebecca Elizabeth Buck was born on June 21, 1999 in Lafayette, California to parents Peter and Kristi… Her favorite athletic achievement is starting in goal for her 18U Junior Olympics team and in field for 16U team… Her favorite athlete is Heather Petri… She enjoys watching shows such as Criminal Minds and Greys Anatomy… Her favorite author is John Green… In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and hiking… For four years, she went on missions to Mexico to build homes there… She is studying aquatic biology and aspires to be a marine biologist.
