• Played in 20 games during the 2021-22 season for the Gauchos
• Collected a goal, seven assists, eight points, and 13 steals
• Saw a season-high four steals against Concordia (Jan. 29)

Club/High School

• Attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School
• Competed in the Trinity League under coach Brian Weathersby
• In 2018/2019 Mel played 17 games, had 11 goals, 5 assists and 8 steals
• In 2019/2020 she played 28 games, had 10 goals, 16 assists, 16 steals and 3 blocks
• Earned four varsity letters
• Was named CIF Honorable mention, 3rd Team All-League and 2nd Team All-League
• Best performance took place on March 16th 2021 defending well against Mater Dei High School
• Her team was the Trinity League Champions in 2019, 2020 and 2021 as well as the Division 2 CIF champions in 2019
• Also competed in swim
• Mel was Academic All American in 2021 and earned Honors roll

• Has a sister named Maddy and a brother named Ethan
• Hopes to major in Sociology
• Aspires to work in the Forensic science field
• Favorite sports team is the Lakers

• Enjoys watching American Horror Story, Freaks and Geeks, Criminal Minds, Brooklyn 99, and That 70's show
• Favorite novels are The Twilight series and Looking for Alaska by John Green
• Likes to listen to Beach Fossils, Surf Curse and Tyler the Creator
• Hobbies include surfing, hiking, art and thrifting
