Played four seasons for Leland High School in South San Jose under coach Eric Rise… Honored with the Pat Tillman Award for being the student-athlete exemplifying integrity, character, and outstanding athletic accomplishments as well as high academic achievement… Named All-CIF/CCs 1st team after leading her team in goals and winning the D-I CIF Championship her senior year… She earned First Team All-League honors her sophomore. Junior, and senior years… Earned Senior and Sophomore of the Year in their respective seasons… In the classroom, she earned AP Scholar honors, the Seal of Bi-Literacy in Spanish, and the President’s Award for Educational Excellence.
Club
Played for San Jose Water Polo Club and with Stanford Water Polo’s platinum 16U Junior Olympics Team… Earned USA Water Polo Outstanding All-American accolades from 2015-2017.

Samantha Morgan Stebbins was born March 1999 in Santa Clara, California to parents Terry and Johnee… Has younger sister Georgia, who was a teammate and goalie in high school and club… Also has a brother, John… Is a member of the UCSB Honors Program… Lists R is for Rocket as her favorite novel… Enjoys arguing about grammar, writing poetry, prose, and singing in her free time… Her favorite Pre-game pump-up song is Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore… Started playing water polo at age 13 when her friends scrimmaged a team of 16 year olds, lost badly, and vowed to become better.
