No. 6 Gauchos Continue Strong Start to Season with Three More Wins

REDLANDS, Calif.No. 6 UC Santa Barbara (5-0, 0-0) continued its winning ways as the team tallied three more wins to its 2013 season record. Competing in the Inland Empire Invite this weekend, UCSB faced off against Whittier, University of Redlands and Claremont Mudd Scripps. The Gauchos prevailed over Whittier, 16-7, then pulled off a 17-8 victory over Redlands. To conclude the day, Santa Barbara defeated Claremont Mudd Scripps by the score of 19-9.

In its contest against Whittier (2-3), UCSB jumped out to an early lead with a 7:51 goal by senior captain Matt Gronow.
