CHANDLER, Ariz. - Through 17 holes in the suspended second round at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, freshman Andrew Ricci has shot a 2-under par 65, helping UC Santa Barbara leapfrog Cal Poly, and move from 22nd-place to 21st-place with the end of the second round and all of the final round to be played on Tuesday.

The Gauchos were at 25-over par when play was stopped when darkness fell. They were one shot behind Idaho and Weber State in the powerful field, but they had moved five shots ahead of the rival Mustangs, who are at 30-over. The tournament is played on the Cattail Course at the Whirlwind Golf Club.
