Princeton, N.J. — UC Santa Barbara women's water polo saw their first road action of the season over the weekend, traveling to New Jersey for the Princeton invite. The Gauchos finished the tournament 3-1, with wins over #17 Wagner, #22-T Long Island, and Bucknell. Leigh Lyter led the team in scoring on the trip, tallying nine goals in the four games. Caitlyn Snyder was not far behind, with eight. UCSB is now 8-2 on the season and 3-2 against ranked opponents.

UCSB will head south this weekend to take part in the Triton Invitational, hosted by UC San Diego. The Gauchos are in Bracket A of the tournament, joined by #3 USC, #13 Indiana, and Concordia Irvine. UCSB will face the Hoosiers in the weekend's opening match, Friday at 8 a.m. in La Jolla.
