Fullerton, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2023) – UC Santa Barbara Cross Country will compete in one last meet before the Big West Championships next week. The Gauchos are heading to Fullerton for the John Elders Titan Invite on Friday, Oct. 20 for one more opportunity to show their strength before their upcoming final competition.

LAST MEET
The Gauchos went to the Bay Area for the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 14, where many of them broke personal records. The men's team placed 3rd out of 16 teams, while the women were 8th out of 21. Ethan Godsey had an especially productive meet, as the sophomore placed third overall and broke a UC Santa Barbara 8K record. Stina Johansson finished first for the Gaucho women, followed by Danielle Hollander who broke her personal record by 36 seconds.

NEXT UP
Cross Country will head back to Cal Poly on Oct. 27 for the final meet of the season, the Big West Championship. Following this meet, the athletes will begin to train for the upcoming track season.
