LONG BEACH, Calif. - Four members of the UC Santa Barbara Men's Swim team competed in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Open Water 5K in Long Beach Saturday morning.
Kyle Brill led all Gauchos swimmers with a time of 58:11 placing eighth.
Connor Martilla finished four spots behind in 12th and a time of 59:29. Finishing just just three seconds behind Martilla was
Owen Berry clocking in at 13th place. Rounding out the Gaucho swimmers was Jude Distefano finishing 18th and a time of 1:03:07.
The UC Santa Barbara earned 100 points earning them fourth place in the Open Water Meet.
The Men's Swim team returns to action on Firday, Oct. 27 as they travel north to Stanford. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m.
