Four UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis Student-Athletes Earn Scholar-Athlete Recognition

TEMPE, Ariz. (July 10, 2023) – The UC Santa Barbara men's tennis team had four student-athletes receive ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades. The ITA announced the honors on Monday morning.

Kai Brady, Gianluca Brunkow, Phillip Jordan, and Pablo Masjuan collected ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the 2022-23 academic year.

The four individuals were among the 893 student-athletes recognized for their academic achievements.

As a team, UC Santa Barbara had arguably the best season in program history. The Gauchos finished with a record of 22-4, their most wins in a season since going 28-12 in 1985. Their .846 winning percentage is the best in program history.
