EUGENE, Ore. — The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team lost a close match against the Oregon Ducks, Saturday afternoon. The Gauchos were unable to come back from the Ducks early lead and fell 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Oregon jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after clinching the doubles point. Tyra Richardson and Lucy Lu dropped a close match on court two 6-4 that ultimately secured the doubles point for Oregon.

In singles play the Ducks rattled off three straight set victories to clinch the match. UC Santa Barbara and Oregon continued the match and the Gauchos won the next three points. Amelia Honer and Carla Pacot defeated their opponents in impressive straight set victories on courts one and six. On court two, Camille Kiss ended strong, winning 6-2 in the first set. Kiss dropped the second set 3-6, but took the third set 6-2 to earn the third and final point for Santa Barbara.
