SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – UC Santa Barbara Track and Field is ready for their first meet of the season, the Westmont Sunshine Indoor on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Gauchos will be headed there to refine their skills before the onset of the 2024 season.
While Women's Indoor Track competes in Washington, their teammates will be in Santa Barbara to prepare for their epic Spring. It will be the Gaucho's first meet with the new UC Santa Barbara Director of Track & Field, Vijay Saxena, who is looking to familiarize himself with the team as they head towards their main season.
The meet will be held at Westmont College and begin at 10:15 a.m. Stats for the meet can be found here.
The remainder of the Spring 2024 schedule is set to be released next week and will feature a variety of competitive meets for the Gauchos.
