SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team earned an impressive 5-2 victory over Penn State in their return to their home surface, Saturday afternoon. The Gauchos grabbed the doubles point before earning four more points in singles play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos and Nittany Lions began with doubles play and it would be UC Santa Barbara that gained the early advantage. Camille Kiss and Lucy Lu gave UC Santa Barbara the early edge with a 6-2 victory on court two. Penn State would tie it up with a 6-4 win on court three, and then all eyes turned to court one. Amelia Honer and Kira Reuter clinched the doubles point for the Gauchos with a 6-4 win.

As the match moved to singles play, Camille Kiss put the Gauchos up 2-0 with a straight set victory on court two. Katarina Vayser then earned the Gauchos third point with a straight set victory on court six. UC Santa Barbara clinched the match after Amelia Honer earned a three set victory on court one. With the match clinched, Santa Barbara and Penn State Played on. The Gauchos picked up one more point over the final three courts to earn a 5-2 victory.
