Box Score SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis Team lost a tough match against the No. 14 ranked University of San Diego on Sunday morning. The Gauchos were unable to overcome their competitive doubles and singles play and fell 6-1 to the Toreros.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Starting off with doubles, the 72nd-ranked pair Kristina Nordikyan and Kailey Evans defeated
Carla Pacot and
Katarina Vayser, 6-1 on court three. The Toreros took the match on court two shortly after to clinch the doubles point.
Moving into singles, San Diego extended their lead, 2-0, when
Camille Kiss was defeated in the second position. They then went on to take the match with straight-set wins on courts four and six.
Kira Reuter retired from her match on court three, taking the Toreros to 5-0.
Although they had officially clinched the match, Santa Barbara and San Diego decided to continue play on the remaining courts.
Carla Pacot nearly had her Torero rival, winning the first set but ultimately dropping set three, 7-5.
Amelia Honor wrapped up with the last win of the day and the singular victory for the Blue and Gold. After taking the first set, Honor prevailed 10-8 over San Diego's De Las Heras in the third set tiebreaker after De Las Heras won the second set 7-6 (5) to force the tiebreaking set.
