FULLERTON, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team improved to 10-7 overall and 5-0 in Big West action narrowly beating Cal State Fullerton 4-3 on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos took control of the match right from the start. Carla Pacot and Anna Weissheim earned a 6-2 win on court three before Amelia Honer and Kira Reuter did the same on court one to earn the doubles point.

Honer continued the scoring in singles play earning a straight set victory on court one. Camille Kiss built the Gaucho lead to three with a 6-3, 6-0 straight-set victory in the No. 2 position to take complete control of the match. The Titans did not bow out as they rattled off three straight victories to tie the match. Cal State Fullerton picked up win on courts three, four and six to even the match at three a side.

As all eyes turned to court five Carla Pacot would play hero for the Gauchos earning a 6-2, 6-4 victory to clinch the match for UC Santa Barbara.
