SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team stayed perfect in Big West play after another dominant performance against Long Beach State, taking the match 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UC Santa Barbara started off the match with a strong performance in doubles. Duo Camille Kiss and Lucy Lu picked up the early advantage with a swift 6-2 victory. Amelia Honer and Kira Reuter clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory on court one.

In singles play, Camille Kiss and  Amelia Honer dextended the Gaucho lead to 3-0 with their straight-set victories on courts one and two. Although LBSU's Peppi Ramstedt managed to secure a win against Kira Reuter, it was the Rainbow Wahine's only triumph of the day. Lucy Lu clinched the match for the Gauchos with a hard-fought, straight set victory on court five. The Gauchos won the final two matches to win 6-1 and move to 3-0 in Big West action.
