SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Blue and Gold dive back into action this weekend down in La Jolla, California. The Gauchos will compete in the UC San Diego Invite which will run over the course of three sessions, starting on Friday, Oct. 10, wrapping up with a morning and afternoon session on Saturday Oct. 11.
LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Gauchos took first place in the UOP Invite, highlighted by a Big West Athlete of the Week performance from Samantha Banos. Banos finished first in all eight events she competed in. The Blue and Gold look to travel south and continue a dominant start to this season.
LOOKING AT THE FIELD
UC Santa Barbara is traveling south to take on four West Coast competitors: the hosting UC San Diego Tritons, Cal Golden Bears, Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. 
Events start at 2 pm on Friday and 10 am and 2 pm on Saturday. After the Gauchos are finished in San Diego, they will head back into town for a quick stop before the MPSF Open Water Championships.?
