Davis, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team delivered a dominant performance in their first Big West match of the season, securing a 6-1 road victory over UC Davis.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos started strong in doubles, taking the opening point with victories on courts one and two. The top duo of Amelia Honer and Lucy Lu set the tone with a commanding 6-2 win over UC Davis' Mika Ikemori and Daisy Manunupau. Shortly after, Ali Benedetto and Lily Pradkin clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory at the second position.

Moving into singles, No. 14-ranked Amelia Honer continued her stellar form, defeating Ikemori 6-4, 6-1 on court one. UCSB kept up the momentum with straight-set wins from Tyra Richardson, Lily Pradkin, and Katarina Vayser. Ali Benedetto added a three-set victory at No. 3, while Lucy Lu narrowly fell in a third-set tiebreaker, giving UC Davis its only point of the match.
