SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The No. 44 UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team put together a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, sweeping UC San Diego 7-0 in a Big West Conference matchup at the Arnhold Tennis Center

HOW IT HAPPENED
UCSB wasted no time asserting control in doubles. The pair of Anna Weissheim and
Raphaelle Leroux opened with a swift 6-1 win on court three. Moments later,
Lucy Lu and
Lily Pradkin secured the doubles point for the Gauchos with an identical 6-1 victory on court two. Court one was left unfinished with UCSD leading 3-2.
In singles, the Gauchos were clinical from top to bottom. Anna Weissheim struck first with a flawless 6-0, 6-2 win on court two.
Carla Pacot followed with a 6-1, 6-0 rout on court six.
Raphaelle Leroux extended the lead with a 6-1, 6-2 victory on court four before
Tyra Richardson clinched the match at 4-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 win on court three. No. 10-ranked
Amelia Honer added to the total with a strong 6-3, 6-1 showing on court one, and
Emma Tutoveanu capped off the sweep in a thrilling 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (10-4) battle on court five.
