SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Basketball program has signed four transfer students, Hosana Kitenge, Aidan Mahaney, Miro Little and Marvin McGhee IV, as announced on Friday by
Joe Pasternack.
All four student-athletes will join the Gauchos' program for the 2025-26 season. Kitenge and Mahaney have one remaining season of eligibility, while Little and McGhee IV have two years of eligibility. Kitenge comes to Santa Barbara after spending the last two seasons at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. At the same time, Mahaney returns to the West Coast after spending last season with UConn. Little comes to the Blue and Gold after spending last season at the University of Utah and McGhee IV leaves Big West foe Cal State Bakersfield to join the Gauchos.

Additionally, he was the youngest player to make his Finnish National Team debut since 1997 at 17 when he played in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
Mahaney, a 6-foot-3 guard from Lafayette, California, returns to the West Coast after spending the 2024-25 season with back-to-back National Champion UConn Huskies.
