Cross Country Unveils 2025 Season Schedule

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's and Women's Cross Country teams unveiled their 2025 season schedule Friday afternoon. The Gauchos will compete in four meets in preparation for The Big West Championships, NCAA Regional and National Championship.
 
The Blue and Gold will kick off the season on Friday, August 29 in Malibu as they take part in the Big Wave Invite hosted by Pepperdine. Three weeks later, the Gauchos will host their first home meet, the Gaucho Twilight, since 2022 as they welcome Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, San Diego State, Westmont and St. Mary's to Mission Club Golf Course in Lompoc on September 19.
 
The final two meets before Santa Barbara heads to Hawai'i for The Big West Championships will be on October 4 at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Oregon. Two weeks later the Gauchos will head north again, but staying in California to compete in the Bronco Invite on October 18.
 
After the Bronco Invite, the Gauchos will head to Hawai'i for The Big West Championship on Halloween, October 31. Should student-athletes qualify, the NCAA West Regionals will be held two weeks later on November 15 in Sacramento. The following week will be the NCAA National Championships in Columbia, Missouri on November 22.
