Box Score SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara men's tennis team won their sixth straight game to open the season, defeating Santa Clara 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.  Despite dropping the doubles point, the Gauchos dominated singles play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos dropped the doubles point as Santa Clara claimed victories on courts two and three. Top position Conrad Brown and Dominique Rolland were tied with their opponents 6-6 when the match was called.
 
In singles play, Rolland tied the match with a quick win at No. 1 singles. Charlie Underwood gave UC Santa Barbara their first lead of the day after a come-from-behind victory at No. 5 singles. Diogo Morais pushed the lead to 3-1 with a win at No. 4 singles and Conrad Brown clinched the match with a victory at No. 6 singles, helping the Gauchos extend their perfect start.
