SAN DIEGO, Calif. — UC Santa Barbara finished 15th at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational at San Diego Country Club, concluding with a team score of 900 (+36) over three rounds. Sophomore
Dylan Ma led the team with a tie for 38th place, posting a three-round total of 220 (+4).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Santa Barbara completed the R.E. Lamkin Invitational with a 54-hole total of 900, placing 15th out of 16 teams. The team posted rounds of 297, 299, and 304. Ma led Santa Barbara with a final score of 220, tying for 38th place. He opened with a 73, improved to a 71 in the second round, but concluded with a 76 in the final round.
Ryan Gay contributed with a score of 222, tying for 52nd. Gay's rounds were 72, 73, and 77.
Nick Waldock finished tied for 71st with a 227, maintaining consistency with rounds of 75, 76, and 76.
Jack Watters and
Andrew Reyes rounded out the team, finishing 84th and tied for 90th, respectively. Watters posted a total of 231, while Reyes finished with a 236.

UC Santa Barbara will now have two weeks to prepare for the UC San Diego Invitational, hosted by UC San Diego at Torrey Pines. The event will run Sunday, March 22, through Tuesday, March 24.
