Results After Thursday's Competition 

AUSTIN, Texas--Senior Justine Diaz has qualified to compete in NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa June 6-9 after her performance in the 800m in the preliminary round on Thursday. Diaz ran a 2:07.26 to finish top three in the first heat which earned her an automatic qualification. 

Other Gauchos who competed on Thursday but did not qualify were Alex Umstead who competed in the shot put and Michael Guerra who threw 213-9 in the javelin. Umstead will compete in the hammer throw preliminaries on Saturday.
