• The Gaucho Rewind: Gameday 10
G10: CSU Bakersfield 66, UCSB 62 - A clutch Tal Sahar triple at the end of the second quarter tied things up, but Bakersfield found its rhythm in the third quarter, putting away four three-pointers to take a nine-point lead into the fourth. The Gauchos tried to rally in the final frame with Aliceah Hernandez's trio of treys leading the charge, but fell just short.

• Scouting the Opposition: Grand Canyon
The Lopes are 3-5 on the season, having just snapped a four-game losing streak with a come-from-behind victory against UNLV. Jada Holland's 18 points got the Lopes over the line in the win, bumping her into second on the team. Leading scorer Da'jah Daniel also leads the team in rebounding with 9.7 per game.

• Scouting the Opposition: Arizona
Ranked 18th in the AP poll, Arizona is undefeated in ten games so far this season. The only common opponent shared between the Gauchos and Wildcats is Chicago State, which Arizona handled in an 82-50 away victory. The Wildcats weren't ranked until their 83-58 win away at then-No. 22 Texas. The team's average margin of victory is 31.3 points, led by Aari McDonald and her 19.8 points per game. Cate Reese, the team's second leading scorer with 15.2 points per matchup, averages a team-high 8.7 boards.

• She Can't Stop Getting Double-Doubles...
Freshman center Ila Lane has made a statement to start her Division I career. She put together four-straight games with a double-double from Nov. 15 against San Jose State to Nov. 26 vs. San Diego State. She fell just one rebound short of making it five in a row against Stephen F. Austin, but she bounced back with yet another big 20 point, 10 rebound statline in UCSB's win against Chicago State. Her success earned her her first Big West Player of the Week award on Dec. 2. With her 20-rebound performance at Cal Baptist on Nov. 23, she set the record for most rebounds in a single-game by a freshman and landed in a tie for seventh place on the program's individual single-game rebounds list. Currently, Lane is fifth in the country with 12.2 rebounds per game.

• A Century of Assists
Redshirt senior guard Tal Sahar recorded the hundredth assist of her career in UCSB's loss against Pacific on Dec. 5. Earlier in the season, she set a new career-high in scoring with 22 points on Dec. 1 against Chicago State in the Nugget Classic tournament.

Coco Miller Surpasses 1,000-Point Mark
In last week's game against Pacific, Coco Miller's triple with 7:39 left in regulation made her the 27th member of the 1,000-point club in program history in her 102nd career game. She became the first to surpass the mark since both Nicole Nesbit and Melissa Zornig completed the feat in 2014.

• Protect This Ball at All Costs
Coco Miller has just eleven turnovers in 287 minutes over nine games. Miller has six outings where she has recorded one or no turnover, including a one-turnover performance in 50 minutes at Cal Baptist. Miller's 2.64 assist to turnover ratio is the best mark on the team and good for 25th in the NCAA.

• Henrickson Approaches 400
UCSB head coach Bonnie Henrickson is just four wins away from her 400th career win. Now in her 23rd season, Henrickson has enjoyed a successful career across three different schools and four different conferences.
