SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team blanked UC San Diego 4-0 on Sunday afternoon for their sixth straight win. Santa Barbara (7-3, 6-0) remains perfect in Big West matches, and the six-match win streak is their longest since the 2017-18 season.
The Gauchos won the doubles point after Camille Kiss and Marta Gonzalez Balbe won their matchup 6-0 and Lise Sentenac and Elizaveta Volodko won 6-4.
Shakhnoza Khatamova easily defeated UCSD's Rachel Wagner 6-1, 6-0 and Camille Kiss also dominated her opponent Ella Pachl, winning 6-2, 6-2. Lise Sentenac's 4-6, 6-3, 11-9 win over Anu Bhadada clinched the Gauchos' 4-0 victory.
The Gauchos head south Friday to face CSUN at 1:00 p.m.
