SAN DIEGO (March 2, 2023) — The No. 34 UC Santa Barbara men's tennis team bounced back from their lone loss of the season on Thursday, kicking off their trip to San Diego with a dominant win at San Diego State. The Gauchos won, 4-1, with all four of their points coming from singles play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Aztecs came out swinging, taking the doubles point after wins on courts one and three.
Regardless, San Diego State proved to be no match for the 34th-ranked Gauchos, who swung back in singles play. Mrsic earned a point on court five with a dominant performance, winning his match, 6-1, 6-1. The Gauchos continued to clean house as No. 114 Pablo Masjuan and Conrad Brown defeated their opponents in straight sets as well on courts two and six. After a first-set loss, Phillip Jordan came back and sealed the deal with a win on court one.
