NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (April 21, 2023) - A scorching hot UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team saw their winning streak of four games come to an end against Cal State Northridge. Amelia Honer stayed hot winning in both her doubles and singles matches. Camille Kiss also earned a point for the Gauchos in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Cal State Northridge earned the upper hand early with a doubles win on court three. UC Santa Barbara evened out doubles completion after No. 12 Amelia Honer and Kira Reuter earned a 6-1 victory on court one. The Matadors ended up taking the doubles point after winning the decisive match on court two. 

UC Santa Barbara got a point back to cut into the lead after No. 60 Amelia Honer defeated her opponent in straight sets. The Matadors went on to win the next three sets to clinch the match but the Gauchos narrowed the lead after Camille Kiss won a tight match on court two. The Gauchos fell 5-2 breaking their four-game winning streak.
