RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Friday, April 7) - The UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis Team earned a 4-1 victory over UC Riverside propelling them into third place in The Big West standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos made quick work of the Highlanders in doubles play with Camille Kiss and Marta Gonzalez Ballbe shutting out their opponents 6-0. The No. 13 ranked duo, Amelia Honer and Kira Reuter won their doubles match 6-1 to give UC Santa Barbara the doubles point. 

UC Riverside got a point back on court four, but UC Santa Barbara quickly countered with three straight points to clinch the match. Gonzalez Ballbe, Kiss, and Honer all defeated their opponents. Gonzalez  Ballbe won 6-0 and 6-1 on court five while Kiss won 6-2, 6-2 on court two. Honer clinched the match for the Gauchos will a 6-2, 6-1 victory on court one.
