The match resulted in a tough 4-0 loss for the Gauchos, who were short handed at the time. This past Sunday, the Kansas Women's Tennis team improved their season by securing a win in their home opener against Old Dominion, 4-3.

The Gauchos currently hold a 1-2 record against Texas Tech. The Lady Raiders recently split their doubleheader, dropping the match 4-2 to the #14 Auburn Tigers before finishing strong with a sweep against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, 4-0.

UC Santa Barbara and Arizona enter the weekend on an even playing field, with both teams having two wins under their belts from four previous matchups. The Gauchos dropped the most recent competition, 1-4, against the Pac-12 opponent.

FALL RECAP
The Gauchos started the fall season strong with Amelia Honer and Camille Kiss opening the fall season with a win over the No. 8 ranked doubles duo from Georgia. They carried that momentum throughout the fall season as Honer defeated Katherine Hui from Stanford. Hui was ranked as the No. 2 Newcomer by the ITA and won the U.S. Open Junior Championships previously. Kira Reuter and Amelia Honer also earned a spot in the ITA National Fall Championships, they were just one of 32 doubles teams to earn a spot in the Championships.
