SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced their Preseason Rankings today. Among the 90 duos in the doubles rankings are UC Santa Barbara's own Gianluca Brunkow and Dominique Rolland.
 
Brunkow put together an impressive 2023-24 season in the Blue and Gold. The rising senior was a First Team All-Big West selection in both singles and doubles play. He was named The Big West Player of the Week three times and earned an automatic qualifying spot in the NCAA National Doubles Tournament.
 
Dominique Rolland joined the Gauchos in the winter quarter last season. Although he did not see playing time with UC Santa Barbara he competed at a high level in the Pac-12 before transferring. Rolland attended the University of Arizona during his freshman season, sporting a 16-8 record in singles play and 13-4 in doubles play. He was part of a squad that won the Pac-12 regular season championships and hosted the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Brunkow, Rolland and the Gauchos are about a month away from starting the 2024 fall season. The Gauchos fall schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
