FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The UC Santa Barbara Golf team is ready for their first tournament of the year as they head to Fort Collins for the Ram Masters Invitational hosted by Colorado State. The Gauchos will play three rounds across two days, beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 17 and ending Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Fort Collins Country Club.
 
The Gauchos are sending a lot of new faces to this tournament. The only returner appearing on the lineup is sophomore Nick Waldock, while transfer Ryan Gay and freshmen Jackson Turner, Zekun Fang and Dylan Ma make their debuts for the Blue and Gold.
 
Over the course of three rounds, the Gauchos will face off against some tough teams. Numerous Big West schools will be at this tournament including Long Beach State, UC Davis, Cal State Fullerton and Sacramento State along with hosts Colorado State, Colorado, Denver, Valparaiso, Rice, Utah Tech, Wyoming, Northern Colorado, Boise State, Idaho and Utah Valley.
