SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- The UC Santa Barbara Men's Golf team is proud to welcome Luciano Conlan to the 2026-27 signing class.
Â
"We are really excited to bring Luciano on board this spring," said Massoletti. "He comes with a ton of experience competing at the highest level. He was one of the nation's top juniors when he signed with UCLA and has been a part of a championship program the last few years. He understands what it takes to compete with the best, and I can't wait for him to bring that knowledge and experience to the team."
Â
Conlan is a golfer from Haleiwa, Hawaii, though he went to high school at Classical Academy High School in Escondido, California, where he won the 2021 CIF San Diego Section Golf Championship. He also won the 2021 Junior America's Cup Championship and was the 2020 SCPGA Toyota Tour Cup Player of the Year.
Â
Conlan joins the Gauchos after previously competing at UCLA during the 2023-2024 and 2025-2026 seasons, where he carried a 73.8 stroke average over 15 rounds during his junior season and was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten Team honoree.
Â
Conlan's father also attended UC Santa Barbara, so as Conlan put it, "Gauchos run in the family."
