Box Score SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The No. 42 UC Santa Barbara Women's Tennis team defeated UC Irvine at the Arnhold Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon with a dominant 6-1 performance to remain undefeated in Big West action.

The Gauchos swept doubles with a perfect performance. On court three,
Ali Benedetto and
Emma Tutoveanu took a 6-0 win.
Marie Weissheim and
Raphaelle Leroux followed suit with their own 6-0 victory on court two to wrap up the perfect doubles showing.
Lucy Lu and
Lily Pradkin left their set unfinished tied 3-3.
Headed into singles play, the Blue and Gold only extended their lead starting with
Marie Weissheim's quick 6-2, 6-2 win in the first position.
Ali Benedetto followed with her own straight set victory on court six.
Raphaelle Leroux earned the winning point for Santa Barbara with a 6-1, 6-1 win on court two.
The Anteaters got on the board with a win over
Lily Pradkin in the fourth position.
Emma Tutoveanu went to a tiebreak for the second set where she picked up the Gauchos' fifth point.
Carla Pacot closed out the dominant day with a 12-10 win in the tiebreaker for the match on court five.
