ALBUQUERQUE – The UC Santa Barbara team is back in action for their second tournament of the week. They will compete at the William H. Tucker Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico. The tournament will be held at UNM's Championship Course from Friday, September 25, through Saturday, September 26.
LAST TIME OUT
Earlier this week, the Gauchos wrapped up the Gene Miranda Invitational, finishing T6 (-1) as a team. The Gauchos had two Top 10 finishes.
Dylan Ma finished T3 (-7), and
Nick Waldock finished T9 (-4).

THE FIELD
The Gauchos are competing in a field with only one other Big West school, Long Beach State. The tournament has 13 other programs competing, including Colorado, UTEP, Arkansas State, SDSU, BYU, SMU, Missouri, New Mexico State, Arizona, New Mexico, GCU, Santa Clara, and UNLV.
THE COURSE
The Championship Course at The University of New Mexico, designed by architect Robert (Red) Lawrence, features a 7,555-yard, par-72 course with wide fairways lined by loose desert sand and sagebrush. This layout sits at 5,300 feet of elevation, which provides a tricky test for these golfers to gauge their distances correctly. The Championship Course has been nationally recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the top-25 public golf courses in the country. This long, hilly course should provide a great test for the golfers competing this weekend.
