EUGENE, Ore. (June 10) – Senior Finn Andrews represented UC Santa Barbara track and field at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships, hosted by the University of Oregon and held at the historic Hayward Field.
The lone Gaucho to qualify for the national meet, Andrews competed in the semifinals of the 400m hurdles, clocking a time of 52.69 to conclude his senior season.
Andrews qualified for the NCAA Championships after a record-breaking performance at NCAA West Regionals, where he lowered his own school record for the fourth time this season with a 49.78. Throughout his final season, Andrews established himself as one of the top hurdlers in program history, capping his career with a national championship appearance.
Competing against the nation's best on collegiate track and field's biggest stage, Andrews closes out his Gaucho career as the UC Santa Barbara school record holder in the 400m hurdles.
