EUGENE, Ore. (June 8) – The 2026 outdoor track and field season will come to a close this week at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by the University of Oregon at Hayward Field from June 10-13. UC Santa Barbara will be represented on the national stage by senior Finn Andrews, who qualified in the 400m hurdles.
At the NCAA West Regionals in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Andrews punched his ticket to the Championships with a sixth place finish in the quarterfinals. The senior broke his own school record for the fourth time this season, clocking a 49.78 to continue his record-breaking campaign.
Andrews will compete in the 400m hurdles semifinals on Wednesday, June 10, at 7:14 p.m. A top finish would advance him to the national final on Friday, June 12, scheduled for 6:27 p.m.
