About the Tournament
Since 1983, the ITA Women's All-American Championships have featured the nation's top NCAA Division I players and have been a pioneer in women's college tennis. The event has created milestones that over the years have directly influenced the popularity of women's collegiate tennis.
Last Week
UCSB took the courts for the first time as team last week at the Cal Fall Invitational and did not disappoint in the first contest of the new season going 23-12 in tournament.
Freshman Amelia Honer won the singles consolation bracket in her collegiate debut defeating Angelina Ruja from Pacific 3-6, 7-6, 10-4. On the doubles side, three Gaucho duos in Shakhnoza Khatamova & Honer, Camille Kiss & Marta Gonzalez Ballbe, and Kira Reuter & Filippa Bruu-Syversen all advanced to the final round of their respective draws.
